final model

i finished making my office (finally)
these are some snap shots

walking up the slope

the view from the balcony

front view from the inside

final look.

texture and an alpha channel

there are two types of walls in my office:
1) glass-wall (translucent)
2) white wall (opaque)

for an alpha channel, i found an image that gave me an idea

-from Pamphlet Architecture

on the right, i found the pattern with ovals and curves quite interesting and decided to use it for my alpha channel.

this is the pattern that i made using photoshop

i gave some of my glass-walls textures

exterior

for the exterior of my office, (outer shape)
i was inspired by the image that i found from Architecture Asia

i liked the idea that some parts of the building are stuck out

i tried to make some parts of my office stick out too and made them quite "mixed up"

= the view from beneath

development

built a balcony on the 2nd floor!

made another space on 2nd floor

made ceiling on the balcony

started making an office

it was hard to find a space to build my office as it's quite late to start on.
finally i've found an empty space and began building the office.

my space was already surrounded by a number of neighbouring buildings so i needed to think about the location and the size of my office thoroughly.

journals

my journals are:

1. G.A. document Extra

2. Archtecture Asia

3. Pamphlet Architecture

i looked through them and found some images that might help me making my office on second life.
