I really liked your shape of your design. I could see that you were informed very well by your 3D scan of a crushed can.
I thought possibly it would of been nice to see the same repeated abstract shape from the outside in the interior compartments as it was a little bit confusing as the interior is opposed to the crazy asymmetrical irregular exterior shape.
I liked the materiality of the design, and thought it looked fitting in the studio space.
I thought also you could explore other ways to access your design 'junk' in the design, as if you wanted to get to the bottom draw you would have to take off all the compartments, and could get very heavy over time as the draws full up with lots of paper.
I liked your design and thought that your drawings were very informative, especially your Photoshop images with your design placed in the studio.
The shape of the trash-can was quite intriguing, with the idea that in is produced from a crushed shape, considering most contents in a trash can is crushed like this. It plays on the fact that the trash inside has now become the more valuable part. therefore the trashcan itself is crushed instead.
I was a little concerned with the practicality of the trash-can, in that in order to access the trash stored in the bottom compartments, you must first lift up all the above compartments with its contents, and referring to the photoshoped image it seems that the size and weight for one person would be too clumsy.
However there was a lot of skill shown through your sketches and other presentation elements along with the model, it conveyed your intentions project very well.
